With the launch of Croissants In 1987, we gave Mumbai a first-of-its-kind experience--affordable luxury baked products. We set the trend with our first store in Bandra.
In a market saturated with butter cream cakes, We were the first to introduce fresh cream cakes and chocolate cakes in an independent cake shop. We offered sandwiches, submarines and croissants, as well as salads for the health conscious. Croissants, which were earlier only available at cake shops in starred hotels, were now available to everyone. Our croissants catered to Indian taste-buds, some of which, like vegetarian kolhapuri, chicken cafereal, chicken malabari and bhuna ghosht, were introduced in an independent cake shop for the first time.
With Croissants we can proudly claim to have changed the face of food retail in India.
